Srila Prabhupada
Meditation book on His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Srila Prabhupada stayed with us in his physical presence for only twelve brief years.

Although the scriptures say that when the spiritual master leaves the planet the disciples should maintain and develop their relationship with him in his form as his vani, or instructions, nonetheless the heartfelt need for a relationship with Srila Prabhupada in his vapu (physical) form is an inescapable fact for both present and future generations of devotees.

Srila Prabhupada´s unmatchable divine grace, his delicate touch, ans his merciful smiles are an irreplaceable treasure of the inspiration for our advancement in Krsna consciousness.

Therefore all over the world devotees try to perpetuate Srila Prabhupada´s presence by preserving his photos, film footage, recorded voice, and memorabilia. This book is a humble attempt to increase our attachment for His Divine Grace by bringing us closer to him through the medium of photography.

It is a meditation book.

The painstakingly precise work in restoring the photographs, the size of the book, the quality of the paper and printing, the elegant layout, and, above all, the devotional inspiration of the photographers in catching Srila Prabhupada´s mood - all these make this publication the "photographic samadhi" of His Divine Grace.

Our hope is that this book will engrave Srila Prabhupada´s beautiful form on our hearts.

Form of Beauty - The Krishna Art Of B.G. Sharma
The stunning art of B.G. Sharma provides a glimpse into the magical life of Krishna. Sharma is an artist and devotee of Godhead, conceiving of the Absolute as the playful cowherder of the Vedas and Puranas.

Form of Beauty, the first in the Art of Devotion series, is itself an act of devotion. The art of B.G. Sharma involves a lifetime of dedication in terms of Sharma´s artistic practise as well as religious life. Both are inextricably intertwined.

Page by page, the reader is carried by a sense of devotion grounded in philosohpy through the divine play of Krishna and its significance to human society. Indeed, no other conception of the Absolute is more human and divine at once. Krishna both confirms the validity of the human heart and elevates it to divine status. His birth on earth indicates the special position of both our planet and human society. His dealings with all species and our natural surroundings make clear the human responsibility to revere our environment even while we are its stewards.

As we approach the third millennium, no single task is of greater concern than defining the spiritual such that it serves to compel humanity once and for all in the direction of divinity. Form of Beauty will no doubt play a significant role in this regard, as it speaks to us about devotion, love, and beauty uncluttered by sectarian concerns.
